The First Gandaki University-Gyeongsang National University Symposium was successfully organized on January 18, 2026, at the Multipurpose Hall of Gandaki University. The symposium was held in the gracious presence of the Chancellor of Gandaki University, Prof. Dr. Indra Prasad Tiwari, along with the Research Director, Dr. Raj Kumar Thapa, faculty members, staff, and students of the university.
The Korean delegation included Prof. Dr. Sang Hyeok Park from the Department of Entrepreneurship, Gyeongsang National University, Republic of Korea, and Dr. E. Y. Yang, Director of the International Leadership Training Center Pvt. Ltd., Lalitpur, Nepal. Prof. Dr. Park delivered a comprehensive presentation on entrepreneurship and innovation, highlighting global perspectives and best practices. His presentation was followed by an interactive discussion with participants, focusing on various dimensions of nurturing future entrepreneurs in Nepal.
On the same occasion, a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) was signed between the Beautiful Village Research Institute of Gyeongsang National University and Gandaki University. The MoU aims to establish a collaborative framework for entrepreneurship education, joint research, academic exchange programs, and the development of a startup ecosystem to support youth and aspiring entrepreneurs in Nepal.
