Gandaki University (GU) and the Nepal Engineering Council (NEC) signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) on October 15, 2026, to strengthen collaboration in implementing Outcome-Based Education (OBE) and developing an accreditation framework aligned with the provisions of the Washington Accord. The partnership aims to enhance the quality, relevance, and international benchmarking of engineering education through joint initiatives, capacity building, academic collaboration, and continuous quality improvement. The MoU was signed by Prof. Dr. Indra Prasad Tiwari, Chancellor of Gandaki University and Prof. Dr. Padma Bahadur Shahi, Chairman of the Nepal Engineering Council, reflecting the shared commitment of both institutions to strengthening engineering education in Nepal.
